Overview of 2007: Falklands 25th Anniversary Year.

2007, SASIG’s first year, was very successful.  We were able to exhibit at 10 venues including special Falklands 25th Anniversary events at Plymouth, Doncaster/Aeroventure, and the Waddington Air Show.  The year culminated in the biggest display of all at the IPMS (UK) Nationals, Scale Model World 2007.  Through the year we were able to meet many veterans of the Falklands Conflict and they were all very appreciative of our efforts on their behalf.  Several of them took the time to share photographs and others shared memorabilia with us.

         I would like to thank all the SIG members who have supported the display with their time and models, and made this year such a success.
